If you, as a parent, are considering ear surgery for your child, it is important that the surgery is what your child wants. Children who feel uncomfortable about their ears and want the surgery are generally more cooperative during the process and happier with the outcome. The operation can be done on children between the ages of 4 and 14, as the ears are almost fully grown by the age four.
