Face and neck lift

As people get older, the effects of gravity, exposure to the sun, and the stress of daily life becomes visible on their faces. Deep creases and wrinkles can appear around the nose and the mouth, and the skin in the jaw and neck area can become saggy due to decrease of collagen content of the skin. This process can affect people of varying ages, depending on their genetic background and lifestyle. There are certain factors that speed up the aging process. These include:

  • Weather conditions (too much exposure to the sunlight or cold, wet and windy weather
  • Lifestyle ( smoking, drinking alcohol regularly, lack of rest and sleep, stress)
  • Illnesses (diabetes, liver diseases, arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, long term medications)

A facelift, otherwise known as rhytidectomy, can't stop this aging process, but it can improve the most visible signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscles and skin on your face and neck. You will look younger and feel better. A facelift can be done alone, or in conjunction with other procedures such as a forehead lift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping.

Find out if you are an ideal candidate, about the surgery and possible complications in detail and look at our before and after pictures.
