You are an ideal candidate for liposuction if you are normal-weight with firm, elastic skin who have pockets of excess fat in certain areas and don't consider liposuction surgery as a method for extensive weight loss. We don't recommend liposuction for people above a certain age with loose skin, as their skin will become even saggier after the procedure.
It is also important to be medically fit to undergo liposuction surgery as it carries greater risk for individuals with medical problems such as diabetes, heart or lung disease, poor blood circulation, or those who have recently had surgery near the area to be treated.
Liposuction is used to treat men and women alike. In women the most frequent areas of liposuction surgery are the inner and outer thighs, hips, buttocks, arms, knees and abdomen. Other liposuction areas include the area beneath the chin and the rolls of the back. Liposuction for men, commonly suctioned areas include the love handles, abdomen, chest, and chin.
